The Sexton Corporation is an underwater product manufacturing and design company located in Salem, Oregon. We manufacture high-quality, custom underwater products for research, industry, and cinematic storytelling. We are a rapidly growing company and need team members willing to grow and adapt as the company’s needs change.

We are currently hiring for the following positions

Engineering Technician

Essential Functions:

  • Read technical drawings, specifications, or engineering information to identify parts and sequence of assembly.
  • Perform assembly of products according to established standards and instructions.
  • Assist in in the development, design, and testing of basic DC circuits.
  • Conduct product function and performance testing and record results.
  • Maintain a safe work area that is clean and well organized.
  • Prepare completed machined parts and products for shipping.
  • Document work using time tracking software and production documents.
  • Assist with organizing and inventory of fasteners and components used in the assembly of products.
  • Resolve assembly problems and provide feedback to the design team for product improvement.
  • Maintain assembly equipment by completing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and notifying production manager if maintenance is required.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement of the manufacturing process.

Operations Manager 1

Essential Functions:

  • Develop SEXTON’s primary and secondary supply chain
  • Develop and optimize shipping, receiving, and staging program
  • Establish and maintain personal relationships with primary and secondary vendors and partners (aka Vendor & Partner Program)
  • Manage all of SEXTON’s procurement and related inventory
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts in all areas of operations management
